LC9 brings the beats out for the first time in Singapore

Making their first overseas event here in our sunny island, Korean boy band LC9 (League of Competition #9) were all smiles during their short press conference held on the morning of 30th November at the Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa Hotel. The six member boy group consisting of Rasa (leader), E.Den, J-Hyo, King, Jun and AO debuted in May this year and were formed by Nega Network, which is also home to the fabulous and talented Brown Eyed Girls and Lunafly. LC9 were in town for a three-day visit to greet Love Beats (their official fan club name) for their fan sign, showcase and not forgetting a Hi-5 session!

Despite having a press conference in the early morning, the boys of LC9 still managed greet the media with smiles and was looking sharp with their causal yet cute coordinating white outfits. Rapper E.Den shared that this was their first overseas event and he felt honored to be able to perform for their fans. He also said that he enjoys our homeland’s greenery and it feels like a breath of fresh air.

AOA, D=OUT, Screw & Bosco Wong at the 2013 Sundown Festival Press Conference

Following the past few years of success, Sundown Festival is once again back for their annual event that celebrates Asian music and culture. Proudly created and organized by Red Spade Entertainment, The eight hour long music fiesta took place at the F1 Pit Area, Marina Promenade on November 16th. This year, Sundown Festival ups Asian countries tally to a whopping eight: Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan with an addition three new Southeast Asian nation namely Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. The girls of  Ace of Angels (AOA) were in town to represent Korea, visual kei bands Screw and D=OUT for Japan, No More Tear for Thailand, Rocksteddy and Rico Blanco for Philippines, Bosco Wong for Hong Kong, Yoga Lin for Taiwan, Adonia Shao for China and Nidji for Indonesia.

A press conference was held a day before the event on the 15th of November at the Marina Mandarin Hotel attended by SCREW, Rocksteddy, AOA, Nidji, D=OUT, No More Tears, Rico Blanco and Bosco Wong. All of the artistes shared the same level of enthusiasm to perform for our local audience.

Korea Festival 2013: Vizit Korea Press Conference & Opening Ceremony

On October 25th, two highly popular K-pop idol groups, APink and NU’EST together with veteran actor Sung Dong II and beautiful actress Lee Chae Young were here in town to attend Korea Festival 2013 – ‘Vizit Korea’ held at the Singapore Expo Hall 5B. Proudly organized by MediaCorp VizPro and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Vizit Korea is the only Korean-focused consumer travel, food, lifestyle and entertainment event. Held over a span of 3 days, various stations was set up ranging from delicious Korean cuisines, contemporary arts and films to K-pop performances.

Artistes that were present at the press conference on the 25th were all very thankful and happy to be invited to this memorable event. Both NU’EST and APink hope that their fans present at this event would be able to learn more about Korean culture. Lee Chae Young said that she was grateful to be in Singapore to represent Korean dramas and movies. Also, even though this was Sung Dong II first visit to Singapore, he brought his whole family with him! His children was present at the press conference, sitting in the audience. Fans of the Korean variety show ‘Daddy, where are you going?’ would be familiar with his adorable son, Song Joon.

When asked to recommend places for tourist to visit when they are in Korea, APink’s Namjoo recommended Jeju Island for it’s beautiful healing scenery. While speaking in fluent English, NU’EST’s Aron recommended Dongdaemun, which is an inexpensive and a great place for shopping.

Lee Seung Gi ”The Brilliant Show” in Singapore: Press Conference

Korea’s multi talented prince, Lee Seunggi, once again graced Singapore with his presence with yet another opened press conference and fan meeting to break off his hiatus. Please look on for more exclusive photos.

Fans who aren’t able to purchase tickets for the fan meeting were able to catch him during the 30 minutes open press conference.

Other then being famous for being an actor and singer, the sweet smiling artist is also a show host and has been awarded in all there segments.

Being in Singapore the second time for a fan meeting, fans and audiences are curious as of what he has been doing, or what he plans to do in this near future. Returning to the variety scene for ‘Grandpas Over Flowers‘, Seung Gi revealed his excitement at the press conference. Fans can expect to see him up in variety in October or November. Grandpas Over Flowers’ is very popular and well-received in Korea at the moment, everyone is excited to see Seunggi be in part of it.

Lee Kwang Soo First FanMeeting in Singapore: Press Conference

Lee Kwang Soo held his first ever solo fan meeting  in Singapore! Armed with many nicknames as the framing master and betrayer in the famous Korean variety show ‘Running Man‘, he showed us a different image of him during the press conference. You might think that he is really wicked and arrogant, this giraffe is actually a kind and shy person once you get to know him.
